Belagavi Tech Meetup 2023 – Terms & Conditions
Welcome to the Belagavi Tech Meetup 2023 (“Event”) organized by Belagavi Technology Companies Association (“BeTCA,” “we,”). The following Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) outline the rules and guidelines for your participation in the Event. By registering for and attending the Event, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not register for or attend the Event.
Event Registration
Eligibility: Participation in the Event is open to individuals who meet the eligibility criteria specified in the Event registration process. Registrants must provide accurate and complete information during registration. This meetup is only for Techies who are working in the Technology field and are associated with Belagavi.
Registration Confirmation: Your registration for the Event is not confirmed until you receive a confirmation email from us. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel registrations at our discretion.
Badge Pick-up: Registered participants are required to pick up their event badges and any related materials at the designated registration desk on the day of the Event.
Event Conduct
Code of Conduct: All participants, including attendees, speakers, sponsors, and volunteers, are expected to adhere to a respectful and professional code of conduct throughout the Event. Disruptive or inappropriate behavior may result in removal from the Event without refund.
Presentation Content: Any content presented or shared during the Event, including presentations, slides, and materials, should not violate intellectual property rights, contain offensive or inappropriate material, or promote commercial interests unrelated to the Event’s purpose.
Event Changes and Cancellations
Program Changes: BeTCA reserves the right to make changes to the Event program, schedule, speakers, and activities without prior notice.
Event Cancellation: In the event of unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to force majeure, safety concerns, or low attendance, BeTCA may cancel or reschedule the Event. Registrants will be notified as soon as possible, and a refund of registration fees (if applicable) will be provided.
Liability and Release
Assumption of Risk: Participation in the Event is voluntary, and attendees assume all risks associated with their participation, including but not limited to accidents, injuries, or illnesses.
Release of Claims: Attendees agree to release, discharge, and hold harmless BeTCA, its officers, directors, employees, and partners from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising from or related to their attendance at the Event.
Photography and Recording
By attending the Event, you consent to being photographed, filmed, or recorded for promotional and marketing purposes. BeTCA may use these materials without further consent or compensation.
Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Belagavi Jurisdiction. Any dispute arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Belagavi Jurisdiction.
Changes to Terms & Conditions
BeTCA reserves the right to update, modify, or change these Terms at any time without prior notice. Your continued participation in the Event after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
